This tribute concert brings together friends, fellow musicians, and the community to celebrate Al’s incredible impact on the music scene and countless musicians in Northern Michigan for over four decades. An all-star group of young musicians from the state of Michigan will be playing the original music of Jeff Haas. Selected repertoire will be brought to life and arranged for a nine-piece band by Chris Glassman.

Join us for an evocative program that celebrates the deep connections between music and other art forms. At the heart of the concert is Dana Wilson’s Musings for horn and piano, portraying the nine Greek muses through music and poetic readings by Laura Mittelstaedt.
The Alluvion World Music Series is delighted to present Indian American singer and multi‑instrumentalist Sheela Bringi and virtuoso, versatile guitarist Elden Kelly with tabla master Nabin Shrestha for a transcendent concert weaving rāga‑inspired melodies, Indian folk traditions, and the improvisational spirit of jazz.

Trumpeter and composer Anthony Stanco’s latest release, In the Groove: Live at The Alluvion, captured an unforgettable night of music in this very space. Now Stanco returns to The Alluvion for a special performance with his quintet that brings the album back to life, right where it was created.

“rivereye” is the new name for the music of singer-songwriter Max Lockwood and collaborators. The debut self-titled album was recorded almost entirely live in the deep woods of northern Michigan in July 2025, unveiling a nine-song journey of earthy and poetic rock and roll.

JUNE
Drummer, songwriter, producer Dan Rickabus brings together a cast of luminaries to perform his new album “Ache in the Blooming” with a 7-piece band.
He’ll be joined by Seth Bernard, Jordan Hamilton, Max Lockwood, Eric O’Daly, Brandon Fitzpatrick, and The Lasso.
The uncanny songsmith Hannah Laine will open the show with her unique magic.

From Cadillac, Michigan, to the streets of New Orleans and now living in Spain, Luke Winslow-King has spent a lifetime shaping a sound that blends blues, jazz, folk, and rock into something cinematic, soulful, and unmistakably his own. On this special evening, he is joined by Tuscan slide guitar virtuoso Roberto Luti.
