About the artists:
JORDAN HAMILTON
Cellist and vocalist Jordan Hamilton is a mix of mastery and maverick musicality. Self producing hip-hop influenced, rhythmically layered, melodically robust, avant-garde, folk-soul music. Driven by diversity, drawn to the cello’s tone, cosmic strings calling souls home. A different kind of symphony, hopeful enough to grow our empathy.
“Part political activism, part hopefulness, part performance art, part soundscapes, and all entirely mesmerizing.” - John Sinkevics, Local Spins
Emotional energy crafted from integrity, immaterial and immortal, experienced at the speed of sound, with a bit of bounce, groove by the ounce, and all the jump you’ll need to move.

AFTER OURS
"Head Nod Jazz" a two-man wrecking crew with influences ranging from modern jazz to grunge to instrumental hip hop & experimental music. Hybrid 7-string guitarist Eli Kahn creates sonic layer cakes with loops atop drummer Arthur Schroeder's ever-expansive jazz beat backdrops to create a unique sound that is all their own.
Having shared stages together for 10+ years as the rhythm section in different groups and as backing bands from folk to rock to funk to hip hop, the two musicians have developed a tight chemistry that translates to their original music & interpretations of contemporary/classic tunes.

HANNAH LAINE
Hannah Laine (Earth Radio) is a Michigan-born singer-songwriter, pianist and loop artist. Laine was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan to music-loving parents who immersed her in the sounds of Simon and Garfunkel, Stevie Wonder, Alicia Keys, Fleetwood Mac, and Heart, amongst others. She began singing and songwriting at a young age, taking inspiration from her father, who is also a professional singer and guitarist. Hannah started playing piano when she was 8 years old. Over many years of lessons, she learned the language of music and developed the ability to translate the songs in her head to piano and accompany her own voice. She shared her voice frequently, singing in the church band with her father, singing in school choirs and musicals, and eventually performing her own music. The music that we hear from her today is an authentic expression of her soul that is rich, colorful, and deeply moving.
