About the comedians:

MIKE GEETER

Hailing from Pontiac, MI, Mike Geeter is a comedy force to reckon with. His unique perspective, stemming from his eclectic background, infuses razor-sharp humor into topics ranging from current affairs, trading the Ivy League for community college, and relationships.

Mike's upbringing is a treasure trove of comedic inspiration, marked by captivating anecdotes about growing up among 16 siblings and navigating the challenges of being a parent. His life as a father adds another layer of hilarity to his repertoire, all delivered with a blend of jagged wit and silky-smooth delivery that keeps audiences in stitches.

With a resume that boasts headlining gigs at some of the nation's premier comedy venues, Mike has shared stages with comedy luminaries like Kevin Hart, Tom Papa, Maria Bamford, Hannibal Burress, Natasha Leggero, Jim Norton, and Rickey Smiley, to name a few.

Despite being a stellar comedian, Mike is a versatile artist who has made quite a name by showcasing his talents on various platforms. He’s been on Fox Television and Hulu's comedy showcase "Laughs,” as well as the Detroit episode of "Kevin Hart Presents: Hart Of The City 2" on Comedy Central. Mike’s comedy can also be heard around the world on SiriusXM. His skills also extend to hosting and moderating at national conferences, and he’s even starred in a nationwide OnStar commercial as Santa Claus and a regional commercial as a casino bartender. On top of that, Mike gave a TEDTalk in October 2022- a testament to his impressive range of abilities. Mike’s company, SamRose Entertainment, also produces a litany of comedy events, including the highly popular Traverse City Comedy Fest!

For those eager to enjoy his comedic genius at any time, Mike's first full-length comedy CD, "The Charm Offensive," is readily available on all major digital platforms. Whether you catch him live on stage or through your headphones, Mike will leave you laughing until your sides ache.

GREG SHARP

Greg Sharp is a stand-up comedian from Ann Arbor, Michigan, has performed in bars, bowling alleys, and comedy clubs nationwide. He produces The Comedy Experiment showcase and has appeared at the North Carolina Comedy Festival. Greg's act blends deconstructionist absurdism and offbeat observations, leaving audiences in stitches. With his quick wit and sneaky innuendos, Greg Sharp is sure to impress.

MARTI JOHNSON

Marti started doing stand up comedy 14 years ago in Traverse City when her family and friends encouraged her to share her funny jokes and stories. She’s opened for John Heffron, Leanne Morgan, Kevin Bozeman, Andrew Norelli, Norm Stulz and Dave Dyer. She brings her brass ovaries to the stage with fodder coming from her wine tours, dating, life experiences in Northern Michigan, and self-deprecating jokes. She’s the proud winner of Traverse Magazine’s Red Hot Best Comedian Award in 2017 and 2018.

JOSHUA PAUL

Hailing from your own back yard of Traverse City, Michigan, Joshua Paul brings to the comedy stage a rich tapestry of experiences that might seem paradoxical to the uninitiated. Having grown up as the most sun-deprived boy on an Indian reservation, Joshua has mastered the art of blending cultural insight with sharp humor, all delivered with a quintessential Midwestern charm.

With 9 years in the stand-up circuit under his belt, Joshua doesn't just stand up; he stands out. His acts delve deep into his unique experiences, offering listeners a chance to peer into life as a Native American white boy in the north of Michigan. From raunchy tales of romance, to showcasing the sheer absurdities we often overlook in our daily lives, Joshua's performances are more than just comic relief; they're a lens into a life that's at once familiar and completely singular. Joshua has a unique perspective—woven with wit, wisdom, and a touch of wackiness—that truly captivates. If you're eager for a fresh comedic perspective that's both humorous and heartfelt, look no further than Joshua Paul. Because sometimes, the most authentic tales come from the most unexpected places.
