Are we crazy for taking twenty two artists on the road? Perhaps. But we are a community, not a record label. Each person on the tour takes on a different role within the tour process. There are different committees for booking, lodging, promo, childcare and logistics. Each member of the tour helps with the planning, organizing and smooth execution of the tour in some way. In this way each member of the collective is empowered to be involved in the process and can utilize their skill set to best serve our mission. Earthwork Music encourages community healing through collective musicianship. We are a collective of artists and musicians striving to make the world a better place to live.
We do this because we want to, not because we have to. We do this because magic is created when the community comes together to celebrate through music. We do this because we believe in the intrinsic power of music to facilitate collective healing and to raise both community and self-awareness. We are Earthwork Music.
